Queen of the North Wine Cafe started with a pretty simple idea: we wanted to make this space a place to gather.

A place that feels warm and inviting, always. A place where there are good options for everyone at the table. Where you can stop in for lunch, meet a friend for a glass of wine, bring the family for dinner, celebrate something special, or settle in and stay awhile.

We’re a locally owned, family-run wine café, and on any given day you’ll probably find our own little table of three somewhere in the mix—two adults and one toddler who regularly provides the live entertainment. Queen of the North is very much a part of our family, and we want everyone who walks through our doors to feel a little bit like they’re part of it, too.

Our menu is built around food we genuinely love to eat and share—comforting, approachable, and with something for just about everyone. Add a great glass of wine, a local beer, an espresso, and people you enjoy being around, and that’s pretty much our idea of a perfect day.

We wanted Queen of the North to feel special, but never stuffy. A little chic, a little playful, and completely at home here in Juneau.
